Project Manager
As a Project Manager you will be a key interface with the customer and will oversee the activities of Hosokawa’s engineering teams across multiple projects to ensure they are delivered on-time, within budget and in-line with agreed specifications.

You will have a mechanical or electrical engineering background with a good understanding of the delivery of equipment and systems into highly regulated process industries.


We are especially interested in hearing from applicants who can demonstrate a track record of managing complex projects through the whole project life-cycle from order through to final delivery.


To Note

The role may require occasional travel within the UK and overseas.

The role will include...
  • Working with customers and internal engineering teams to oversee the development of designs and manufacture of bespoke equipment and systems
  • Attending / leading meetings with clients and stakeholders
  • Overall project planning
  • Lead design reviews & HAZOPs
  • Lead negotiations with key suppliers
  • Tracking, forecasting and reporting of project expenditure and scheduling to the Product Delivery Group Manager and Board of Directors
  • Oversee the implementation of design and quality standards, in conjunction with the Quality Manager
  • Review client issued documentation to ensure critical information is captured and implemented, including ensuring delivered equipment meets all validation requirements and specifications
  • Work with the Sales Team to ensure scope changes are captured and change requests are submitted and agreed with the client
  • Work with the Product Delivery Group Manager to allocate and manage resources

An understanding of design of equipment for use in hazardous areas (eg.ATEX) and for compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements including CE & UKCA would be advantageous.

You should be competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and basic knowledge of 2D AutoCAD would be preferable.
