Hosokawa Micron Ltd shared a stand with sister companies, Hosokawa Alpine AG and Hosokawa Micron BV at the Drug Delivery to the Lungs 2019 conference, held at Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) from 11th to 13th December 2019. Hosokawa Micron Group was proud to be a Silver Sponsor at the conference, which celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2019.
DDL2019 is The Aerosol Society’s annual forum, designed to appeal to a range of delegates and exhibitors – including scientists, academics, clinicians, regulatory and industry specialists – who have an interest in pulmonary and nasal drug delivery and the study of airborne particles.
Held in the contemporary surroundings of the EICC, the three-day conference attracted around 800 attendees and provided a backdrop for 110 exhibitors from around the world to showcase their niche pharmaceutical products and services. The conference offered a focussed and relevant scientific programme that was both accessible and friendly, with multitude opportunities for networking and sharing knowledge with industry colleagues by mixing science and business in a welcoming environment.

“It was brilliant for Hosokawa Micron Ltd and our sister companies to be part of the DDL forum in Edinburgh, where the breadth of innovation demonstrated on an international level was amazing. The opportunity to exhibit our GMP processing, pharmaceutical equipment and data-driven manufacturing software, Hosokawa Gen4, allowed us to engage with a range of medical companies and chemistry students on a number of subjects, including digitalisation, Industry 4.0 and the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing, as well as the exciting developments in medicines and drug delivery.” Claire Holt, Business & Partnerships, Hosokawa Micron
