Main duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete mechanical assemblies in line with technical assembly drawings
  • Complete mechanical installations, documentation, permits and equipment qualifications at customer sites
  • Ensure that all work carried out is in line with the customer specifications and standards
  • To be involved in other aspects of work within the business as required.
  • Mechanical fitting and assembly of mechanical components such as:
    • Precision machined parts in various materials
    • Bearings, lip & mechanical seals
    • Belts, pulleys, motors & gearboxes


Experience and qualifications

  • The job holder should be a time served mechanical manufacturing technician with a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience
  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 4 in a mechanical discipline
  • Have good understanding of mechanical principles and precision mechanisms
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical engineering drawings
  • Accuracy and attention to detail to produce a high standard of work
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to operate machine tools (Lathe, Milling Machine) would be beneficial

  • Willingness to work off-site, both internationally and domestic
  • Able to work well and co-operate with others in a team
  • Good time management
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks


Reward Package

  • Competitive base salary with an additional onsite, day rate bonus and over time
  • 38 hr week over 4 days, Monday to Thursday
  • 18 days holiday going to 20 days after 5 years’ service, plus statutory bank holidays
